Types of Testing We Offer

We provide psychological testing for individuals across the lifespan, beginning at age 3. Our assessments are tailored to meet the unique developmental needs of children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, ensuring accurate results and meaningful recommendations at every stage of life.

Autism Spectrum Evaluation is a comprehensive process that assesses social communication, behavior, and adaptive functioning. Using clinical interviews, developmental history, standardized rating scales, and behavioral observations, we clarify concerns and provide individualized recommendations for support and planning.

Cognitive/Intellectual Testing measures general cognitive abilities, including reasoning, memory, and processing speed. Through standardized tasks and verbal assessments, we identify intellectual strengths and weaknesses to assist with diagnostic clarification and educational or vocational planning.

*Academic Achievement Testing measures skills in reading, writing, and mathematics through standardized tests and questionnaires. It identifies learning strengths and challenges, clarifies potential learning disabilities, and supports educational planning and accommodations.

*Twice Exceptional (2e) Testing is designed for individuals who demonstrate both advanced abilities and learning or developmental challenges. Through cognitive, academic, and behavioral testing, we identify giftedness alongside conditions such as ADHD, learning disabilities, or autism. Results guide recommendations for tailored educational supports and enrichment opportunities.

**Please note that academic achievement and twice exceptional (2e) assessments are considered educational services and are not covered by insurance. These evaluations require out-of-pocket payment. ADHD Testing evaluates attention, impulse control, and hyperactivity through clinical interviews, standardized rating scales, and behavioral observations. The process helps clarify ADHD-related concerns and guides recommendations for treatment, support, and educational planning.

Emotional / Personality Assessment explores mood, emotional health, and personality traits using clinical interviews, questionnaires, and behavioral observations. It helps identify symptoms of depression, anxiety, and other concerns, offering insight into coping strategies and interpersonal patterns to guide diagnosis and treatment planning.

Developmental Evaluations examine developmental milestones and functioning in areas such as language, motor skills, social interaction, and adaptive behavior. Using clinical interviews, standardized measures, and behavioral observations, we identify developmental delays or concerns and provide recommendations for early intervention and support.

Behavioral Evaluations focus on identifying the underlying drivers of challenging behaviors, such as defiance, aggression, or emotional dysregulation. By analyzing behavioral patterns across different environments, we pinpoint specific triggers and functional difficulties to develop targeted management strategies and behavioral intervention plans.

Vocational Assessment evaluates an individual’s professional interests, cognitive aptitudes, and personality traits to guide career transitions or workplace accommodations. Through standardized inventories and clinical interviews, we identify strengths and potential barriers to help align professional goals with individual capabilities and environmental needs.

We do not offer competency to stand trial evaluations, fitness to proceed evaluations, insanity evaluations, fitness for duty evaluations for law enforcement personnel, or child custody or adoption evaluations. We may not sign the Declaration of Psychological and Emotional Health form required for any individual seeking a personal protection endorsement under 37 TAC §35.91.
